When I was trying to identify my UFO I read a bout these. I am pretty sure that this is the Space Shuttle discharging water. Apparently in the vacuum of space it disperses into a very thin but iridescent bloom of ice crystals.
It looks fantastic. H

In space? at 30 seconds, the "2nd plume" (for want of a better term) seems to be sprayed as if in a wind vortex as if coming of a wing (a wing creating lift) in an atmosphere.

That "2nd plume" looks to me like it just broke the sound barrier. Looks like a rocket launch to me.

you could be on something there... so atmosphere then? whats the plume? Merely rocket propellant being disturbed by wings with lift and then a sound barrier blast? Could the sound barrier be another blast of some other waste material from the craft?
why would a rocket have wings with lift? I thought they were merely for directional control, not lift. any missile / nasa engineers on here? I'm awful curious now.

Looks like a Minotaur rocket...
If you watch from 2.10 on for around 20 seconds you will see the rocket seem to stop and then go into it's second stage, much like the second plume in the UFO video
