What Is Octane Really About?
Octane.ie was formed to do one very simple thing, unite petrolheads from every corner of the island under one banner. It's not about the car you drive, the amount of money in your bank account, or the size of your car loan. It's about an enthusiasm for cars of all kinds. Performance, prestige, classic and even just humdrum transport.
Octane.ie isn't just about joining a forum, or selling your car. It's about getting together offline. It's about meeting up on deserted tarmac, crossing continents and getting to do something with people who don't want to just grow old gracefully and die quietly.
Octane.ie is about people who want to do more with their lives, but most of all, it's about having fun. It's not about belonging to a stereotype or fitting into a box.
Octane.ie is about respect. Having respect for people who don't share your views. Having respect for the road. Understanding that being a true car enthusiast isn't about one brand or one era.
But most of all, Octane.ie is about making memories. Of the right road, at the right time, with the right people.
